Applying & Eligibility
Who qualifies for the LOOMLAN trade program?
Interior designers and interior decorators, architects, home stagers and staging companies, real estate developers and property managers, hospitality buyers (hotels, boutique hotels, vacation rentals, restaurants), commercial space designers, office designers, set designers, prop stylists, HOA managers, and multi-family property managers. If your work involves specifying, purchasing, or staging furniture professionally, you qualify.
Do I need a design degree or professional license to apply?
No. A business name and a website, portfolio, or active social media presence (Instagram, Houzz, LinkedIn) is sufficient. The program is open to independent decorators, design students working on client projects, and new designers who are building their practice.
What information do I need to apply?
Your full name, business name, business type, website or social media URL, and a valid email address. If you want tax-exempt purchasing from day one, have your state resale certificate ready to upload at the same time. Apply at loomlan.com.
How long does approval take?
Typically 1–2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your account is approved. Once approved, log in at loomlan.com/account and trade pricing activates immediately.
Is there a fee to join the trade program?
No. The program is completely free to join with no membership fee, no annual renewal fee, and no minimum spend required to maintain your trade status.
Can I apply as an Airbnb or vacation rental host?
Yes. Short-term rental hosts and property management companies qualify. Provide your property listing URL or property management company details as part of the application. See the dedicated Airbnb & Vacation Rental page for more detail.
Can I apply as a real estate developer or apartment builder?
Yes. Real estate developers, apartment builders, condo developers, and multi-family property management companies qualify. Provide your development company name and project details. See the Developers page for full scope.
Pricing & Discounts
How much is the trade discount?
Up to 40% off retail pricing across the entire catalog. The exact discount varies by product and brand but applies automatically to every item you view after logging in.
How does trade pricing work — do I need a coupon code?
No coupon codes. Log in at loomlan.com/account and trade pricing appears automatically on every product page. The price displayed when you are logged in is your price. No requests, no quotes, no waiting.
Is there a minimum order to get trade pricing?
No. Trade pricing applies to any order regardless of size — one accent piece or a full property. There is no minimum order value or minimum quantity at any point.

Does trade pricing apply to sale and clearance items?

Is trade pricing available on all 50+ brands?
Yes. Trade pricing applies across the entire catalog — all brands, all categories, including Uptown Sebastian custom furniture, lighting, rugs, outdoor, and decor. No brand or category is excluded.
Tax-Exempt & Resale Certificates
Does LOOMLAN offer tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes. Trade members with a valid resale certificate can purchase tax-exempt. Submit your resale certificate during the trade application process. Once approved and on file, eligible purchases are processed tax-exempt automatically.
What resale certificate do I need?
The certificate requirements vary by state. You need a valid resale certificate issued in the state where the furniture will be delivered. See the Resale Certificate Guide for all 50 states for state-specific requirements, form names, and instructions.
Can I add my resale certificate after I've already applied?
Yes. Contact the trade team at loomlan.com/pages/contact-us to submit your resale certificate after your account is already approved.
I work in multiple states — do I need certificates for each?
Generally yes — resale exemption applies in the state where delivery occurs. If you regularly ship to clients in multiple states, you should have certificates on file for each. The 50-State Resale Certificate Guide covers the requirements for each state.
Ordering & Account
How do I access trade pricing after I'm approved?
Log in at loomlan.com/account. Trade pricing activates automatically on every product page the moment you log in. You do not need to do anything else — no separate trade portal, no coupon code entry.
Can I place orders on behalf of a client using their delivery address?
Yes. Enter your client's delivery address at checkout for direct-to-client shipping. The order is placed under your trade account at trade pricing and delivered directly to your client.
Can I request blind shipping so my client doesn't see the invoice pricing?
Yes. Contact the trade team at loomlan.com/pages/contact-us before placing the order to arrange blind shipping or custom invoice formatting for client-facing deliveries.
Can multiple people at my firm use the same trade account?
Contact the trade team at loomlan.com/pages/contact-us to discuss multi-user account options for larger design firms.
Does my trade account expire if I don't order regularly?
No. Your trade account stays active indefinitely. There is no minimum spend and no activity requirement to maintain trade status or pricing.
Shipping & Delivery
Is shipping free for trade members?
Yes — and it is free for everyone. LOOMLAN offers free shipping on all orders to the continental United States regardless of trade status or order size.
Can LOOMLAN ship directly to my client's home or project site?
Yes. Enter any delivery address at checkout — client's home, project site, staging address, or receiving warehouse. Free shipping applies to all of these.
Can LOOMLAN ship to a receiving warehouse?
Yes. Enter the warehouse address at checkout. For large multi-item shipments coordinated through the trade concierge, the team handles freight scheduling to your receiving location.
What types of delivery are available?
Standard curbside delivery is included free on all orders. White-glove delivery (room placement, packaging removal) is available for large furniture items at an additional fee. For Uptown Sebastian custom pieces, white-glove delivery is coordinated through the manufacturer and is standard. For large freight orders, a carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally?

Product Suitability & Specifications
Which products are suitable for hotel lobbies and high-traffic commercial environments?
Two categories are rated for high-traffic commercial use:
All other indoor furniture, lighting, rugs, and decor are residential-grade — excellent for designer projects, Airbnb properties, and apartment units, but not rated for hotel lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, or resort pool decks.
Can I use general LOOMLAN furniture in hotel guest rooms?
Yes — when specified by a designer for individual guest rooms. Residential-grade furniture is appropriate for hotel guest room use under the direction of an interior designer. It is not appropriate for high-traffic public areas such as lobbies, corridors, or restaurant dining rooms. See the Hospitality page for full scope.
Are product dimensions and specifications available for commercial projects?

Are product images available in high resolution for client presentations?

Uptown Sebastian Custom Furniture
What is Uptown Sebastian?
Uptown Sebastian is LOOMLAN's exclusive American-made custom furniture line. Every piece is handcrafted to order in North Carolina on a kiln-dried solid hardwood frame with full spring suspension and high-resiliency foam, upholstered in genuine leather or performance fabric. It is available exclusively through LOOMLAN — not through any other retailer.
What is the lead time for Uptown Sebastian?
16–20 weeks from order confirmation. This is the production time for handcrafted furniture — not a stocking delay. White-glove delivery scheduling adds approximately 1–2 weeks after production is complete. Build this into your project timeline from the day you place the order.
Can I order fabric or leather samples before committing?

Can Uptown Sebastian furniture be customised in dimensions?
Contact the trade team to discuss custom dimension requests. Standard pieces offer a range of configurations — the concierge can advise what is possible within the manufacturing process.
Can Uptown Sebastian pieces be returned?
Custom-made furniture is built specifically for your order and generally cannot be returned unless defective. Review the full returns policy before placing a custom order and confirm all dimensions and material selections carefully.

Is there project support for large orders?

Can LOOMLAN handle phased deliveries for multi-unit projects?
Yes. The trade concierge coordinates phased delivery scheduling for developers furnishing multiple units or buildings in stages. Contact the team early in your project timeline to plan freight across phases.
Can LOOMLAN consolidate freight from multiple brands into one delivery?

What is the process for a full property furnishing project?

Can I request fabric or material samples before ordering?

Are outdoor fabric samples available for Sunbrella specifications?

Returns & Warranties
What is the return policy for trade orders?
LOOMLAN's standard return policy applies to trade orders. In-stock items can generally be returned within the standard return window. Custom-made items (including all Uptown Sebastian pieces) cannot be returned unless defective. Review the full returns policy before placing orders for clients.
What warranty coverage is available on commercial-grade outdoor furniture?
Warranty terms vary by brand. Lloyd Flanders, Telescope Casual, Castelle, and HiTeak all carry manufacturer warranties — details are available on each brand's product pages. Is LOOMLAN available on Faire?

Can I use my trade account alongside a Faire account?
Yes. Your LOOMLAN trade account at loomlan.com operates independently of any Faire account. You can use either platform for different orders based on your preference.

Does LOOMLAN supply furniture for LEED-certified projects?
Yes. Several brands carry certifications relevant to LEED v4.1 credit pathways. The trade concierge can pull product-level certification documentation for qualifying products. How early do I need to order Uptown Sebastian for a hotel opening?
Order at minimum 20–22 weeks before your required delivery date to allow 16–20 weeks production plus 1–2 weeks white-glove delivery scheduling. For hotel openings with hard dates, contact the trade concierge the moment you have a confirmed spec — not when you're ready to order.
Which outdoor brand is best for a resort pool deck?
Telescope Casual Marine Grade Polymer for chlorine and saltwater environments — the material handles pool chemical exposure without degradation and requires no maintenance. Can a single Airbnb host join the trade program?
