SunLoom vinyl is manufactured specifically for Lloyd Flanders furniture company. The vinyl gets designed to look like a natural wicker with added performance. 

The wicker strands in Grand Traverse furniture are reinforced with a nylon cord. The additional cord gives each piece superior durability and strength. UV inhibitors are also added to the vinyl product, helping it prevent excessive fading.

Coffee and Side Tables

We carry a 43" oval coffee table that features a glass top. The table is also made from aluminum and vinyl wicker. You can decide whether you'd prefer the Caramel or Bisque wicker for the table. 

LOOMLAN also carries two different side tables, including a glass or wood top. They are 24" in diameter.

The wood top is made from teak. Teak is one of the best types of wood for outdoor furniture. It requires little maintenance and can last over 75 years. 

Chaise Lounges

Grand Traverse chaise lounges feature Sunbrella cushions in a wide range of colors and patterns. Choose from Aman Capri, Fife Fog, Surpass Pumis, or Canvas Bird Eye. You can also choose whether you want your cushions to have buttons or no buttons. 

The seat cushions were created with your comfort in mind. They have a foam core that's wrapped in polyester. The soft cushion is then sealed with a moisture-resistant fabric that requires little patience. 

The fabric is comprised of a modified polyester enamel. The polyester fabric gets enhanced with additional performance requirements such as chemical resistance and exterior durability detergent. 

You can choose to have your chaise lounge chair set in the upright position if you're hanging out with your loved ones. Recline your seat back if it's time for a cat nap in the sun.

You can buy lounge chairs individually or as part of a cohesive set on our website. Choose from rockers, gliders, chair and a half, and porch rockers. Opt to have a single or double cushion on the rocker.

Dining Tables and Chairs

There are multiple types of dining chairs that the Grand Traverse collection offers. Some of the options include Swivel Dining Armchair, Armless Dining Chair, Barrel Dining Chair, Dining Armchair, and Porch Rocker. Each chair is sold individually so you'll need to purchase how many you need for your outdoor space. 

LOOMLAN carries a few different kinds of dining tables from the Grand Traverse line. We offer round and oval-shaped tables in different sizes ranging from 48 to 80 inches. 

You can also pick between a glass or teak wood top. Each table includes a hole in the middle for you to put your umbrella. You only need to clean the tables with mild detergent to keep them looking in exceptional shape.

What's the Lloyd Loom Process?

Marshall Lloyd, the founder of the Lloyd Manufacturing Company, developed the Lloyd Loom process in 1916. It was patented in 1917. 

The original process involved twisting paper both without and with a wire core. The idea was considered innovative. That's because it combined the benefits of rattan and wicker with a modern touch. 

The process evolved to produce a continuous cellulose strand that would peel or crack, creating a smooth weave. Each strand of twisted fibers was submerged in glue so it wouldn't unravel. The strands then get reinforced with aluminum wire for added resiliency. 

Once the weaving process is complete, the wicker gets put into a resin emulsion. The warm resin creates a coating over the wicker, increasing its durability.
